Heritage Reimagined

Duncan Aviation’s Provo, Utah, team transformed this Gulfstream G450 into a deeply personal expression of heritage, comfort, and modern craftsmanship. Inspired by the owner’s family connection to World War II bomber aircraft, the exterior features a monochromatic interpretation of historic “frogskin” camouflage. Nearly 40 variations were explored before the final pattern was precisely aligned across the fuselage, tail, and horizontal stabilizer for a seamless, three-dimensional effect. Inside, a residential-inspired cabin pairs soft fabric and leather seating with satin-finished flat-cut walnut veneer, dark Corian countertops, and refined metal accents. Custom solutions—including a convertible conference table and lounge, concealed microwave, expanded lavatory headroom, custom sink, and modern cabin technology—enhance everyday comfort and functionality. The result is a one-of-a-kind G450 where personal history, thoughtful innovation, and contemporary design come together.

Now that Duncan's Provo location has the capabilities for large scale completion projects, Molly has been experimenting and looking for new innovative ways to give the customer an aircraft that truly matches their vision. “I am especially fond of a Global that we just recently completed” says Molly. “We were going for a very neutral tone on tone interior and we decided to give our teams a little challenge and veneer the lower sidewalls throughout the aircraft. The end product turned out amazing and it has been one of my favorite projects to date.”
