The Duncan Aviation Maintenance Apprenticeship Program develops well-rounded, competent aviation maintenance technicians. You'll gain the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to earn your FAA certifications while working on some of the most advanced business aircraft in the industry.
Program Duration
20 Months of comprehensive training combining on-the-job experience with structured classroom instruction.
Zero Tuition Cost
Duncan Aviation covers all certification testing fees, study materials, and online prep software. Tools via a no-interest loan.
Competitive Compensation
Hourly pay from Day 1, with milestone increases at key stages throughout your apprenticeship journey.

Multiple Locations
Available at our Lincoln, Nebraska and Battle Creek, Michigan facilities — both world-class MRO campuses. The apprenticeship program is not currently offered in our Provo, UT location.
FAA Certification
Graduate with your FAA Airframe or Powerplant certification and join the ranks of Duncan Aviation's expert technicians.
Our comprehensive curriculum covers all aspects of business aircraft maintenance, including:
- Airframe structures and systems
- Powerplant operations and maintenance
- Avionics and electrical systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- FAA regulations and compliance
- Safety procedures and best practices
Our apprenticeship is VA-approved for GI Bill® benefits at our Lincoln, NE and Battle Creek, MI facilities. If you're an eligible veteran, service member, or qualified dependent, you may be able to use your benefits while you train. Common questions are answered below.
