Rolls Royce issued a recent News Flash (NF 2014-01) about the potential for nuisance T2.5 Faults occurring following engine starts on AE 3007C Series engines on Citation X aircraft.
These faults are not uncommon during colder weather when the sun is shining on one side of an aircraft and not the other. Both Rolls-Royce and Cessna have researched these faults and have determined them to be a nuisance failure of the T2.5-to-MADC comparison check following engine start, and not any indication of actual sensor failure.
Together, Rolls-Royce and Cessna have developed an alternate starting procedure to use after experiencing a FADEC Fault L A-B and /or R A-B CAS message following a normal engine start. These procedures are to be used after the engines have been stabilized and idle for at least three minutes.
Cessna has released this alternate procedure with the following Temporary Pilot’s Checklist Changes:

A fix is in process and will be included with the next version of FADEC software to be released to the fleet. Cessna issued Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) temporary Revisions to address these nuisance failures and have since been incorporated in accordance with subsequent AFM revision.
