Colin is originally from Rockville, Maryland, and graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelors degree in Industrial Design. Colin has worked for several different automotive performance shops, designing aftermarket performance parts for a variety of vehicles before coming to Duncan Aviation in 2023.
Colin chose industrial design because it combines his passion for functionality, aesthetics, and problem-solving. Since middle school, he has worked on cars in the garage with his dad, which sparked his love for hands-on design and understanding how things work. He enjoys creating products that not only look great but also serve a purpose and solve real problems. Industrial design allowed him to blend creativity with practicality, turning ideas into tangible solutions that enhance everyday life.
My favorite part about working at Duncan Aviation is getting to see the projects go from a 2D drawing and a stack of materials to a fully completed project said Colin.
