Duncan Aviation’s Georgia Avionics Satellite Shop Moves To A New Facility

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that its Satellite Avionics Shop in Atlanta, Georgia, has moved into a new facility at the Hill Aircraft Fixed Base Operator (FBO). Manager Edduyn Pita and his crew of avionics technicians have moved into a newer, bigger hangar owned by Hill Aircraft. Long-time Atlanta Satellite Shop customers need not worry about losing the convenience of the shop, as the new hangar is located on the same ramp as the previous shop and is less than two minutes from the satellite’s old hangar.

Duncan Aviation recently completed an industry first installation of the Honeywell Primus Elite (DU-875 displays) in an Embraer Legacy. The Legacy’s owner is a long-time customer of the Duncan Aviation Houston, Texas, Satellite Avionics Shop and agreed to be a launch customer for three new Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs).

Duncan Aviation has Brought Hundreds of Aircraft into ADS-B Compliance

Duncan Aviation has worked tirelessly to get the word out about the FAA’s looming deadline for its Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) mandate. By midnight on December 31, 2019, business aircraft that intend to fly in airspace in the United States will have to have ADS-B. To-date, Duncan Aviation has brought more than 500 aircraft into compliance with the FAA’s ADS-B mandate.
