Duncan Aviation’s Steve Ward Named Dallas/Fort Worth Satellite Shop Manager

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that in early January 2021, Steve Ward accepted the position of manager of the company’s Satellite Avionics Shop in Dallas, Texas, and of the Avionics Repair Station in Fort Worth. Ward was hired to work at the Dallas Satellite Shop 22 years ago, and he has more than 35 years in the aviation industry. Located at the Dallas Love Airfield, the Dallas Duncan Aviation Satellite is the oldest of the company’s 26 Satellite Facilities and workaway stations.

Duncan Aviation Develops ACA Ionizer Installation Packages for Global & Challenger Aircraft

Duncan Aviation has created an installation package for the Aviation Clean Air (ACA) ionization system for Bombardier Global aircraft. The packages include everything necessary for installing the ACA Ionizer system in Global aircraft, including the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), the ionizers, and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) parts kits.

Duncan Aviation STC for ACA Air Purification in Global Slated for July

Duncan Aviation is anticipating the completion and availability of its first Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Aviation Clean Air (ACA) ionization system for a Global aircraft on July 24. The Duncan Aviation Engineering & Certification Services team is developing the STC to cover the installation of the safe and effective air ionization system, and the team is also working on paths to certify other makes/models, including a Challenger 300/350.
