Duncan Aviation is anticipating the completion and availability of its first Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Aviation Clean Air (ACA) ionization system for a Global aircraft on July 24. The Duncan Aviation Engineering & Certification Services team is developing the STC to cover the installation of the safe and effective air ionization system, and the team is also working on paths to certify other makes/models, including a Challenger 300/350.

Duncan Aviation has finalized a further 3-year sales and service agreement with Meggitt PLC for the supply of Securaplane Technologies. The company has been a distributor of Meggitt’s Securaplane product line since 2005, and is one of only two in North America authorized to service, sell, and distribute Securaplane Sealed Lead Acid main ship and emergency batteries.

Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Gogo Business Aviation to provide new installation options for the Gogo AVANCE L3 and the Gogo AVANCE Smart Cabin System (SCS). The Engineering & Certification Services teams at Duncan Aviation are currently amending three existing Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for the Gogo AVANCE L5 Wi-Fi system. Toward that end, the company implemented an aircraft disinfection service in March at the company’s three main MRO facilities in Battle Creek, Michigan; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Provo, Utah. Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that the disinfection service is now available at five of the company’s Satellite Avionics Shops and will expand to additional shops throughout the Duncan Aviation Satellite Network in the coming weeks.
