LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that its Satellite Avionics Shop in Dallas, Texas, has moved to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. Long-time partner Tectonic Management Group built the new hangar complex for another long-time Duncan Aviation partner, Business Jet Center at Love Field. The Dallas Avoinics Satellite Shop now has dedicated hangar space and new shop and office space that let the Dallas team work on aircraft inside the hangar, have a more organized avionic testing bench, and a spacious new office in which to greet customers.
“Our customers will notice right away that this new space is far larger than our previous hangar. We’ll get a boost in efficiency because the additional space lets us spread out and develop a more organized work flow for parts and installations,” says Dallas Satellite Shop Manager Bryan Davis. “In this new hangar, there’s no walk-in access, so our customers and their aircraft will be more secure, too.”
The new hangar has ramp access, and the address for the new Dallas Satellite Avionics Shop is:
Duncan Aviation
c/o Business Jet Center (mail room)
8611 Lemmon Avenue
Building M, Suite 2
Dallas, Texas 75209
“Business Jet Center and Tectonic Management Group have been wonderful to work with, and they’ve set us up for success in the Metroplex for years to come,” says Manager of Satellite Operations Matt Nelson. “We’re in the same complex on the north side of the airport, so our customers will be familiar with the location.”
So far, it’s been a busy year for the 28 Duncan Aviation Satellite Shops and workaway stations. The proximity of experienced avionics installation technicians has been a benefit for many of our customers who share hangars, ramps, or airports with the Satellite Shops, especially as the final months tick away before the FAA’s mandated deadline (January 1, 2020) to get aircraft outfitted for Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ASD-B).
