LINCOLN, NEB — Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce Brad Sides as the company’s newest Airframe Service Sales Rep in Lincoln, Nebraska. In his new position, Sides will assist Falcon airframe operators in planning for large airframe maintenance events, providing detailed technical quotes, answering their service and capability questions, and scheduling in their maintenance visits.
Sides began his career at Duncan Aviation in December 2000 as an Airframe Mechanic I, working his way to Crew Leader by 2002. During his entire 18 years at Duncan Aviation, he has worked on the Falcon airframe. He received his A&P license from Colorado Aero Tech in Broomfield, Colo., and subsequently spent a few years working on agricultural spray aircraft before joining business aviation.
“Brad has a great amount of technical experience on the Falcon airframe. He knows the aircraft extremely well and has been the lead technician on all of the Falcon heavy C inspections,” says Ryan Huss, Manager of Airframe Service Sales for Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln location. “His excellent organizational and communication skills along with strong customer relationships will serve him well as he transitions to our technical sales team.”
Sides has this to say about his new position, “I am excited to join the sales team and be able to continue to work with Falcon operators on a different level. Because of my maintenance experience, I have a deep understanding of the work and am able to delve into inspection details. This will help me better understand the needs of our customers and effectively communicate with the technicians performing the work.”
