Dassault requires that after a discharge of a fire bottle, whether by accident or intention, the rubber silicone nipple that is underneath the engine green sheet should be visually inspected and a boroscope inspection complied with as called out in AMM 05-50-00-700-803. Looking for cracks, clogging, and damage. If damage is found (torn, clogged), replace silicone nipple assemblies.
P/N 18961A is applicable to the Classic F2000 and all F900 series aircraft. P/N SBJ33181-001 is applicable for the F50EX (-40 engines only) and is listed in the unscheduled maintenance manual WC 05-50-00-700-803.
It’s located on the end of the discharge line and splits wide open under the force of the extinguishing agent. To replace this silicone nipple, removal of the engine after-body and the green sheets is required to gain access.
